Ingredients

Filling
  • 5 Medium Apples, Peeled & Thinly Sliced
  • 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 Teaspoon All Spice
  • 1 Tablespoon All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Light Vegan Butter, Melted
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Milk or Water
  • Pinch of Salt

Topping
  • 1/3 Cup Graham Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Light Vegan Butter (Cold)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a mixing bowl place apples, brown sugar, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice and flour and coat the apples. Then add the butter and rice milk to this. We add the dry ingredients first so that it doesn't lump up. Place into a 8 or 9 inch baking dish.

For the topping, place graham flour, oats, brown sugar, butter, baking powder and salt into a food processor and pulse 15 times. Spread on top of apples. Place into oven and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
